Dad's first day home from his 7 & 1/2 month deployment!
and this is only the first half of the deployment.

I guess you can say I am playing catch up. We had such a wonderful 18 days, 4 hours and 3 minutes with Jeff while he was home from Iraq. Gone for another 7 to 8 months and my heart is aching. I think this is the hardest part of deployment. The first part for us is exciting. I can not wait to hear all the things Jeff is doing in Iraq. Then he comes home and we really really get to see what we are missing. We miss you baby! The kids are doing great, but boy do they miss thier Daddy!
So anyways, here is a small glimpse of the things we did while Jeff was home.
We went to the beach, Jeff went on a field trip to the zoo with Nicholas' class. We went to a county fair... had some away from the kids time. It was so wonderful.

Nicholas' school had a flag raising ceremony in honor of Jeff.
I was never so proud to be his wife! I love you baby!
Jeff was even able to speak to the kids in Nicholas' class. He was there for over an hour. These first graders were asking some really intellegent questions.

Smoking that bad boy! You deserve it sweetie!
Spending time with friends...

I love you baby!
