R & R (Rest and Relaxation) with Jeff

Dad's first day home from his 7 & 1/2 month deployment!
and this is only the first half of the deployment.

I guess you can say I am playing catch up. We had such a wonderful 18 days, 4 hours and 3 minutes with Jeff while he was home from Iraq. Gone for another 7 to 8 months and my heart is aching. I think this is the hardest part of deployment. The first part for us is exciting. I can not wait to hear all the things Jeff is doing in Iraq. Then he comes home and we really really get to see what we are missing. We miss you baby! The kids are doing great, but boy do they miss thier Daddy!

So anyways, here is a small glimpse of the things we did while Jeff was home.
We went to the beach, Jeff went on a field trip to the zoo with Nicholas' class. We went to a county fair... had some away from the kids time. It was so wonderful.

Nicholas' school had a flag raising ceremony in honor of Jeff.

I was never so proud to be his wife! I love you baby!

Jeff was even able to speak to the kids in Nicholas' class. He was there for over an hour. These first graders were asking some really intellegent questions.

Smoking that bad boy! You deserve it sweetie!

Spending time with friends...

I love you baby!

So check it out and see all the special details! Just beautiful!

We had a much better photo shoot today on Mother's Day... so I came back and edited and added the new pictures. If you want to see my auction check that out too!

Computers friend or foe?

Where is my motivation? Sometimes I think it would be so much better if I could not get on the computer, because all I want to do is see who said what and what everyone else is doing. Do you ever get that way?

Madilyn and Christian decided to make a fort in the living room, the only clean and picked up room in the house. The floor is now covered with blocks. You shoudl have seen the things they were making. Christian and Madilyn are more like twins. They take up for one another and when one is not around they are really cranky.

My daughter Sarah just finished her finals for this semester.. woohoo that means in a few days I will get to see more of her. She is coming over tomorrow with Sushi! My favorite!

Well that is all for the moment. I will share with you pictures of madilyn's first modeling job as soon as I get pictures done! Wish us luck.

have a blessed day!

Boutiquetots is now blogging!

So I have been getting emails from all my friends saying come and see my blog. I have been looking and wondering if it was high time I blogged. I have no one to talk to here so I figured I would give it a shot.

This picture was taken just a few days ago when jeff was here on his R&R. He was only here for 18 days and left on our 10th wedding anniversary. I miss you baby! We did have a fabulous time. I think the kids are doing great. They have only cried a few times since Daddy went back to Iraq. It is like a ripple affect. One starts then by the time it is all said and done so do I!

Madilyn is taking pictures of everything in the house. She even learned that she can photograph herself. Boy was she giddy about that. While her big brother Christian is trying to skateboard in the house. She is photographing him and he is telling her to stop it because she is making him blind. Nicholas is at school. He made it to school on time today. I am so bad at getting him there late. I am a procrastinator. Guess I love the rush... lol

I have managed to clean the kitchen. woohoo! and now off to do more laundry and fix beds!

Have a great day friends.
